My Strength's and Weaknesses
As a entrepreneur, here are 10 strengths I believe will help me in my journey:
Thriving under pressure: as a new small business, pressure is most of what you face through the first year and separating the noise from the situation, getting to the decisions that need to be made and moving forward.
Confident: If I start a business and I believe in it, I have the drive and grit to work through financial, societal, and familial pressures that occur. Along with that, a general do not care of others opinion attitude.
Problem-Solver: I love solving problems, and I believe a new business has a lot of them, and figuring them out myself allows me to create standards and methods defined to our company goals and allows consistent training and documentation
Nimble: I am able to pivot from project to project and place to place as needed.
I love helping people work: A perfect day at work involves me leading a team of talented people who I can leave to work and help each as I want to. I imagine myself hopping between engineering, marketing, and product design meetings to contribute and expand my skillset.
Realism: I believe I am able to setup realistic goals and stick to deadlines which will allow a smooth flow for the company
Able to figure out money: I have an uncanny ability to figure out money, I am able to get funding and secure funds at a rapid rate. Often it is within debt, but that allows a company to last longer in a dire end.
Charisma: To a certain extent, I believe I can talk my way out of things and am able to communicate generally well and come off as kind.
Culture: As a culture, our community believes in uplifting each other and I can expect the unwavering support of my family and other during such times.
Creativity: I believe I think like no one else and part of that is solutions to problems unsolved or not thought of.
My Weaknesses:
Finances: I can get money, but I suck at spending it properly, so I would leave that to financial advisors and accountants asap.
Rash: I can make decisions too swiftly and need to be better categorize between no way back or a decision which can be reversed.
Polarizing: As a boss, I believe I can be polarizing and that is tough. I am very abrasive and demand autonomy + resistance.
Timely-ness: Being able to pay bills and remember items on time is hard for me to do.
Single threaded tasks: IF a task or product needs work that is repetitive and single threaded, It is very hard for me to get that done unless its the most dire circumstances.
Party: I tend to be more fun than serious and at times that can work very against company goals.
Ambition: As someone who wants to do many things, while I may be dedicated to a company, jumping ships is often and I get bored of a single job or career within a few years.
Inter-personal issues: I believe I cannot be unbiased and able to make good moral decisions given the people within a group depending on their rapport with me.
HR-Friendly: As a boss, I would be very against common work rules and language boundaries, outside of company we would be professional, but internally I would like a friendly attitude with open vocabulary, but not hateful.
Final Decisions: I suck at being decisive and sometimes over-research an issue.
